Winter Wedding – Vienna, Virginia

In December, I had the opportunity to assist and second-shoot with an incredibly talented wedding photographer named Victoria Ruan (Victoria Ruan Photography). A lovely, and rather warm, winter day allowed us ample time outdoors to photograph the gorgeous couple’s first-look photos and portraits. The portraits were then followed by a Persian wedding ceremony (with the prettiest sofreh aghd). The photos in this post are some of my resulting images. Damon, Rebecca and Molly – Old Town Alexandria

This is Damon, Rebecca and their sweet little pup, Molly.
You might remember Rebecca…we did some headshots and portraits together last year.
She still has the best smile and laugh ever!
We all spent a gorgeous Sunday morning taking a little walk around Old Town Alexandria.
These fun photos were the result.
They are getting married in April of next year and they wanted a few photos with Molly “declaring” their wedding date.
I think she “declared” well. :)

Victoria and Jeff: Washington, D.C.

I had so much fun photographing Jeff and Victoria as we walked around some of their favorite spots in Washington, D.C. A super kind, easygoing and incredibly photogenic couple, I loved witnessing and photographing their love for each other and for their adopted city.

Starting out in the hip U Street area (home of the famous Ben’s Chilli Bowl), we had fun walking around some of their favorite spots. Then we headed to the iconic Lincoln Memorial for some really lovely dusk images. Gorgeous couple, awesome architecture and the Washington Memorial in the background…what else could you ask for. Thank you so much, Jeff and Victoria, for giving me the the opportunity to capture your love for each other and for your city.

Halie and Roy: Parkton, Maryland

I recently had the opportunity to spend some time photographing a very sweet couple. I met up with Halie and Roy in Parkton, Maryland at a reservoir near the future bride’s childhood home. And with so many great memories of spending time in and around the area, she knew all the best spots! It was great to see how in-love this couple was and I adored having the opportunity to capture that love in images.
