Halie and Roy: Parkton, Maryland

I recently had the opportunity to spend some time photographing a very sweet couple. I met up with Halie and Roy in Parkton, Maryland at a reservoir near the future bride’s childhood home. And with so many great memories of spending time in and around the area, she knew all the best spots! It was great to see how in-love this couple was and I adored having the opportunity to capture that love in images.

Portraits in Meridian Hill Park – D.C.

I took my first class in portrait photography a few weeks ago. The class, called “Photographing with Emotion,” took place at the lovely Meridian Hill Park in Washington D.C.and was taught by the awesome Terra Chandler (an amazing wedding/portrait photographer). I had so much fun taking these photos and I really learned a lot. I hope Terra is proud!
