It was a really busy Fall 2014 season and I was really fortunate to get to spend a lot of that time second-shooting with a super talented photographer, Sarah Gormley. I am so inspired by the way she captures emotions and interactions and all of those little details that tend to get “lost” on the wedding day. It’s a wonderful thing to work with other photographers who make you want to push yourself and Sarah is definitely one of those photographers. I am excited to start sharing some of the work that I got to shoot alongside her. Thanks, Sarah, for letting me be a part of these beautiful weddings with you.

Spring Wedding at Stone Manor Country Club – Middletown, Maryland

My beautiful friend and her handsome husband got married on a gorgeous spring day in a very pretty and fun outdoor wedding ceremony and reception. Blending their cultures together, the wedding was a wonderful mix of Persian and Argentinian elements. With such a fun-loving and close-knit group of family and friends to celebrate with, it was easy to see why no one wanted the night to end. Thank you so much to Andrew Morrell for graciously allowing me to tag along and document some of the special moments. I loved watching Andrew work. He is such a creative talent (see more of his work here). Shahrzad and Adrian, I wish you guys all the best!!

Best of 2013

So over the last few weeks, as my 2014 season starts getting busier, I have been thinking about last year and all of the wonderful people I have had a chance to meet and/or continue to build friendships with while continuing on this adventure of mine. Regretting not having done a “best of 2013” post at the beginning of the year, I decided to just go ahead and do one now…only 4 months late. But better late than never, I suppose. :) It is really nice to be able to look back on the last year and see all of the wonderful things I have been lucky to be part of. Some of my favorites below.

Thank you to the amazing people that let me photograph them and their special days and life moments in 2013. And thank you to some awesome photographers who l was fortunate enough to get to work with and learn from: Julie, Victoria, Rebecca, Lauren, and Annette.
